The Coachhouse looks out across the water of the Moray Firth to distant mountains.
The water and the light are everchanging, reminding us daily of the beauty of creation

There are walks along the seashore stretching both east and west, offering opportunities to relax unwind, and indulge in a little gentle beachcombing. From time to time visitors catch sight of the dolphins that live in the Moray Firth. There are extensive beech and coniferous woods through which you may wander. Wildlife is plentiful and you may be fortunate enough to glimpse a red squirrel, a roe deer or the rare red kite circling in the sky.

Bluebells abound in the
woods in the Spring, as do primroses along the banks by the shore. Dog
roses flourish here in the early summer, whilst banks of prickly
brilliant yellow gorse outline some of the contours of the hillside.
The village of Kilmuir nestles at the water's edge just a short walk down from the Coachhouse.
