What We Offer
What does The Coach House, Kilmuir offer?
The Coach House is set in a peaceful location, overlooking the Moray Firth. Surrounded by the gentle rolling countryside of the Black Isle, this makes a perfect location to offer a place to come away from the hamster wheel that life can so often feel like. A space to be able to stand still and find a balance within, to then see better "where am I, what do I see around me?" physically, but also emotionally and spiritually. To have a place to ponder questions like "where do I feel drawn to be and what do I need to get there?"
What does the Coach House Provide?
Here, all meals are provided, a warm, comfortable room to sleep in and a space to simply be.
There is a living room and library which, along with the sanctuary are light and airy with a view over the garden and the Moray Firth. Up on the second floor there is an art space, along with a couple of reflective spaces - looking over the Moray Firth and/or the labyrinth at the back of the house. There is a garden with patio area, as well as the labyrinth in a more meadow like area at the back.
Each morning and evening, we offer (and it is optional), in the sanctuary, half an hour of meditation beginning with music or a poem, then silence finishing with some music or words.
We also offer a listening ear or more formal spiritual accompaniment, if you feel it would be helpful to have someone to hear, reflect with and, metaphorically, walk alongside you in your time here.
